New president Renee Buchanan has put her cabinet team together all in her first day in the new job. The president has nominated her predecessor TJ Norton (LRP) for the new portfolio of innovation, a merger of her old job of infrastructure with an emphasis on better technology and what she refers to as 'the ideas economy'.
Other cabinet nominations include former round 1 opponent Dennis McVicker (Libertarian) for commerce, Alex Pijanowski (SDP) returning to arts and Reg Ambrose (LRP) taking on attorney general. All have been presented for confirmation.
